This high-level competition, renowned for its celebration of gastronomic excellence and tradition, selected the region&#8217;s representative for the grand international final, to be held in Lyon on Monday December<sup>1<\/sup>, 2025. Xavier Bats, from Ordanais SA, brilliantly won this first regional selection, thanks to a p\u00e2t\u00e9 cro\u00fbte combining technical skill, balanced flavors and aesthetic appeal. Second prize went to Eddy Carr\u00e9, representing the \u00c9cole h\u00f4teli\u00e8re de Lausanne, while Romain Pellet, chef at RP Traiteur in Geneva, completed the podium by taking third place. &#8221; <i>I&#8217;m very honoured to have won <sup>1st<\/sup> place in the selection round of the 2025 World P\u00e2t\u00e9-Cro\u00fbte Championship, held in the exceptional setting of the Lausanne Palace.
