Launched in 2021, the award recognizes often unsung change-makers working for positive progress locally and across the industry. 50 Best will also make a financial donation to support Woods&#8217; projects and reinforce the lasting impact of its actions. Driven by the desire to create a meeting place between indigenous and non-indigenous populations through food, art and storytelling, Woods launched <a href=\"https:\/\/www.karkalla.com.au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><strong>Karkalla On Country<\/strong><\/a>an immersive culinary and cultural experience located on Bundjalung land. This unique project invites guests to deepen their connection with nature, Aboriginal culture, and the sacred ingredients that have nourished communities for generations.
